70th Anniversary Campaign
This October Oxford Playhouse will be celebrating 70 years in Beaumont Street. As this special occasion approaches we will soon be announcing details of a programme of celebratory events and launching a major fundraising campaign to raise £1,000,000. This will support a range of new initiatives including bringing new work and creative talent to Oxford, presenting and touring more of our own Playhouse productions and building on our Learning programme to engage, involve and inspire as many people as possible.
Details will be available shortly so please visit this page again soon or look out for further information when you next visit the Playhouse.
From the Saddle to the Stalls
To kick start the Campaign, our Chair of the Board, Professor Graham Upton, is undertaking a 1,100 mile sponsored bike ride around regional theatres of England in June and aims to raise £100,000. Please visit the From the Saddle to the Stalls web page for more information on the trip and how you can support Graham and Oxford Playhouse.
Gifts to the Oxford Playhouse Development Fund
The Oxford Playhouse Development Fund underpins every aspect of the theatre and makes a valuable contribution to the Playhouse’s financial health.
We are exceedingly grateful to our many supporters who have given generously to the Development Fund over the years. If you have enjoyed visiting the Playhouse, please consider joining them. You could do this by setting up a regular donation by standing order, making a one-off gift, naming a seat in the auditorium or making a gift in your will. Your support will really make a difference - every contribution is vital to securing a healthy future for theatre in Oxford.
Please visit our Individual Support pages for more information.
