We are very grateful for support at all levels and are pleased to receive either single gifts or regular donations by standing order (monthly, quarterly or annually). A gift of any size can make a real difference. For example . . .
A gift of £50 could hire a costume for a week for an Oxford Playhouse production . . . £100 could fund 10 children’s workshop places . . . £500 could pay for an audio-described performance for the visually impaired . . . £1,500 could fund a week-long residency with an arts practitioner for 25 people . . . £2,500 could pay for installation, training and operator costs to ‘fly’ a person for a full panto run . . . and £5,000 could pay for a free performance for people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to come to the theatre

By choosing to name a seat in the auditorium, you are playing your part in helping us to secure the future of the Playhouse whilst gaining a unique form of recognition in doing so. As someone who has enjoyed the hours you have spent at the Playhouse, you may wish to name a seat for yourself or you may like to honour someone special, remember a loved one or celebrate the arrival of children or grandchildren.
Seat plaques are available at £350 for four years, £750 for ten years or £1,250 for a permanent plaque.
The Playhouse is firmly at the heart of Oxford life. A gift in your will can help us to safeguard our future and keep the theatre in good shape for generations to come. A legacy information pack containing further details is available from the Development Office. It is very helpful for us to know if you have made us a beneficiary in your will so, if you are happy to tell us, we would be delighted to hear that you are supporting our future work.
If you sign a Gift Aid declaration when making a donation, we will be able to reclaim an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue for every £1 that you give. So if you give £100, we will receive £125. This makes a huge difference to us and it doesn’t cost you a thing. If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can claim further tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.
